The stories we live by

March 25 – April 1, 2022

The materiality of narratives arouses us to rethink and reconsider how we perceive personalities, identities, and behaviors of people we encounter in the mundane. Such fluidity in these materialities are reflective of a myriad of forms, across varied contexts, considering diversity in expressions and experiences. Portraying multiple perspectives of a narrative, Balute’s choice of euphoric elements in his works echoes his careful consideration of optimism.

The Stories We Live By is a solo exhibition by Renato Balute and is curated by Alain Zedrick Camiling. It runs from March 25 to April 1, 2022.
