Cascade

As it steadfastly invites us to explore concepts beyond the canvas. Spirituality and energy go hand in hand with insinuations of natural and man-made structures in the works in the exhibition, yet the images never dictate what the viewer sees – as a cascade of forms, shapes, colors, and lines are presented by each artist in his or her individual style, it serves as an opening, a portal to another dimension where the artist’s imagination takes precedence, yet their audiences’ subjective perceptions are welcomed. An elucidation of expressions, a deluge of emotions, a gentle pouring of serenity – these are the elements that make up the myriad thoughts and feelings of the artists that present abstractions in only a few of its many permutations. Affective and effective in their purpose as objects of beauty and intense joy, they leave us awash with wonder and awe.
